Intervention Orders

An Intervention Order (IVO) is intended to provide protection against threatening, harmful and/or violent behaviour. Depending on the relationship an IVO may take the form of a Family Violence Intervention Order (FVIO) against a family member or a Personal Safety Intervention Order (PSIO) against anyone else (e.g. a neighbour). We represent clients as protected persons, applicants or respondents in all IVO proceedings.
