Lorraine's love of the law began at the age of 15 years when she was employed as a Junior Law Clerk with J. Allan Anderson & Son, Melbourne.
As a mature age student she gained her Law Degree at Melbourne University in 1984 and she joined the Firm of Seton Williams & Smith in 1985.
Lorraine has been Principal of Lorraine Jones & Associates since 1996.
During the past 35 years Lorraine has helped her clients legally and personally through their times of sadness and grief as well as attending to the complexities and demands of the Law. It has been her privilege to act for and guide clients in some of the major disastrous events in Victoria particularly the Black Saturday Bushfires. Her maturity, experience and compassion has assisted clients in the wider ramifications of those catastrophic events.
It is most rewarding to Lorraine to have her past clients send their children and now their grandchildren to her and the Firm for their legal advice.
It is also a great source of pride for her that her son Dean will take her place in time. Dean and his Firm, Baker Jones, are already an integral part of Lorraine Jones & Associates.
